Psychiatry Vs Psychology

Both Psychiatry and Psychology are fields that shares common goal that is helping people maintain their mental and emotional well-being. However there are distinct differences in the treatment methods that are used to achieve the goal. Psychology focuses on providing psychological treatments like behavioural interventions while psychiatry involves medications and other therapies like ECT (Electroconvulsive therapy) also.
